The SCA Arts and Science 50 Challenge is a personal challenge for individuals to create "50 items" in honor of the Society for Creative Anachronism's 50th birthday (May 1st, 2015).

The SCA Arts & Science 50 Challenge started in AS 42 (2007) by Lady Albreda Aylese within the Shire of the Mountain Freehold within the Kingdom of the East. It was started as a way for those in the SCA to challenge themselves to become better artisans, meet others with similar interests, learn and share learning and to create and share new creations.

There are 3 Different Challenges:

Depth Challenge- Create 50 of any type of thing in order to push ones skills to the next level.

Breadth Challenge- Make/Learn/Do 50 new or different things.

Persona Challenge- Learn 50 things that your persona would know.

I will be doing a "few" 50 Challenges

Persona Challenge- Learn 50 new things about being a 16th century CampFrau and about 16th century Landsknechts in General. Each item will also be turned into a handout and an accompanying class.

Depth- 50 Recycled Brewing Items or 50 things to do with brewing supplies once the alcohol has been made.

Breadth- Create 50 handouts and classes entitles 50 sewing lessons for non-sewers in the SCA

In addition, I am creating my own 50 Challenge. I am a firm believer that honor and service are a HUGE aspect of the SCA. In that vein I am also doing a Service 50 Challenge, where I will help 50 people.
